Join us for our Term 1, 6-week High-performance Academy. This group welcomes players aged between 11 & 15yrs which is split into two age brackets. This group is our 11-12’s – Please also note that you must be a current rep player, dev squads or A-grade player in 2024 to qualify for this program. If you register and you don’t fit this criteria, you will be asked to move to the appropriate group. We have to ensure that we maintain a level of ability in this group to ensure the girls that fit this criteria are training with girls are the same ability. We have invested in this great program which is written by Swifts Head Coach, Briony Akle & have recruited the best SSN players, Ex- SSN Coaches and accredited Rep coaches, so you get the best training you could get at this age. No. The academy is not position specific and is not indicative of the coaches playing position. The academy is about developing the netballer overall and improving their skill set and match play, together with being mentored and developed by SSN players. We run masterclasses for position specific training.
Our Academies are broken up into 3 programs. The Development Academy which is designed by Giants Captain Jo Harten. It focuses on enhancing netball and match play skills for those not necessarily pursuing rep level status. Group is ages 8-10 and group 2 ages 11-12. The Excel which is for teens aged 13 to 15, extends the development program to refine skills for pre-grading, pre-rep trials, or elevated match play. The High-performance which is exclusively written by Swifts Head Coach Briony Akle, OPEN TO A&B GRADE, REP DEV, REP SQUAD OR REP LEVEL PLAYERS ONLY, aiming to elevate elite players’ game, providing a unique learning experience with specialist coaches and SSN players.

Yes, if they are of similar age, put down your friends name in the notes section on registration and we can make sure they’re put together.
Yes, we have our high performance academy that is written by Swifts head coach Briony Akle and is designed specifically for the elite level players.
The HP program is currently for A grade and rep dev or rep level only. We have designed it this way so that the elite level girls are training with girls of similar abilities and strengths. We will make allowances on a case by case basis if your daughter for example is a strong player but = doesn’t have access to an A grade level team due to being at a small club.
