1. Goal Shooter (GS)

Role:
The primary role of the Goal Shooter is to score goals. They are positioned close to the goal and must work in tandem with the Goal Attack.

Responsibilities:
Convert scoring opportunities.
Create space for themselves and the Goal Attack.
Participate in defensive plays when needed.

Skills Needed:
Excellent shooting accuracy.
Strong communication with teammates.
Good footwork to create space.

2. Goal Attack (GA)

Role:
The Goal Attack assists in scoring goals and plays a pivotal role in the attacking formation.

Responsibilities:
Work with the Goal Shooter to set up scoring opportunities.
Create space and options for other attackers.
Transition between attack and defense.

Skills Needed:
Strong shooting ability.
Good ball-handling skills.
Quick decision-making.

3. Wing Attack (WA)

Role:
The Wing Attack focuses on feeding the ball into the shooting circle while also providing support to the midfield.

Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate passes to the shooters.
Create attacking plays and options.
Assist in defense when necessary.

Speed and agility to evade defenders.

4. Centre (C)

Role:
The Centre is the engine of the team, linking both the defense and the attack.

Defend against the opposing Centre.

Good game awareness.

5. Wing Defence (WD)

Role:
The Wing Defence is responsible for marking the opposing Wing Attack and disrupting their play.

Responsibilities:
Create turnovers by intercepting passes.
Support the defense while maintaining an attacking mindset.
Work closely with the other defenders to protect the shooting circle.

Skills Needed:
Strong defensive skills.
Quick reflexes and agility.
Good positioning and anticipation.

6. Goal Defence (GD)

Role:
The Goal Defence focuses on preventing the opposing Goal Shooter from scoring.

Responsibilities:
Mark the Goal Shooter and Goal Attack.
Intercept passes into the shooting circle.
Support the transition from defense to attack.

Skills Needed:
Strong defensive techniques.
Good aerial skills for intercepting passes.
Excellent communication with the goalkeeper.

7. Goalkeeper (GK)

Role:
The Goalkeeper’s primary responsibility is to defend the shooting circle and stop the opposing team from scoring.

Responsibilities:
Mark the Goal Shooter tightly.
Contest rebounds and interceptions.
Organize the defense and communicate effectively.

Skills Needed:
Strong positional play and anticipation.
Excellent jumping ability and timing.
